Hello!

Get to know me better

My name is Jessica Hultman! A proud Asian American who likes to have fun and who believes hard work pays off.
I am currently working hard towards my goal—a college degree in Interior Design-and why I chose this major.

My love for art has been with me for as long as I can remember. No matter the media type or materials used, I’ve appreciated the way people have different messages to share. Now it’s time for me to challenge myself in the world of design.

This new journey has lead me down the path of further education. As of right now, I am enrolled at South Suburban and plan to transfer to a 4-year university!

 How I Define Art

Art can be a very colorful way to express yourself and can help one open up. It can also be a way to share messages, and with that, the options are endless. As a little kid who didn’t know how to write, it was a form of connection with others and still that way today. So for me, my definition is a way to connect and express oneself through an assortment of lines, colors, and techniques that can be viewed or felt by others.

Summer 2021

I am beyond excited to announce I have been given the opportunity to do a summer internship with Big Guy Creative Studios. Here I have learned and grown in knowledge of camera use, adobe illustrator, and graphic design. Along with an immediate insight into what it is like to start and manage a self-made business in the web/graphic design field!
